Plate heat exchangers

The heat transfer surface in plate heat exchangers consists of corrugated stainless steel plates bundled together by vacuum brazing (brazed plate heat exchangers) and bolted together using gaskets and external frames (bolted plate heat exchangers). Fluid flow directed into every other channel formed by the hotplates.
