Drain valve

A drain valve is a special type of valve whose main task is to drain both condensate (liquefied gas) and non-condensable gases from the system in order to ensure the most efficient heat exchange and prevent violent reactions (water hammering), which pose a significant risk to the system. Drain valves are used primarily in systems where working medium is steam.
